Jim's Tasting notes:
Nose (23.5 points) so complex and delicate! The odd hint of smoke here and there counters the light, fruity sparkle of the barley; just the mocha now hanging around, too Taste (22.5 points) silky with a puff of smoke arriving early, followed swiftly by busy barley Finish (21.5 points) quietens as the toffee arrives Body (22 points) a beautifully made and matured whisky.
The Dancing Stag Series. On a dark windy night with the moon looming over the Highlands, returning from a whisky buying trip the Directors of Robert Graham were confronted by a magnificent stag who appeared to dance in the moonlight. Thus this new line of inspired whiskies. Coincidentally, this happened as our new store on Canongate, Royal Mile was opening in an area King David the 1st created after seeing a vision of a stag with a cross between its antlers.
