Tasting Notes There’s a really caramel, butterscotch smell from this single malt, rich and creamy. The flavours sit on the palate with incredible complexity, this is certainly a malt which will appeal to the educated palate which is able to discern the nuances. An incredibly gentle smoke sits underneath top notes of summer fruits with soft floral notes just creeping in. The finish is delightfully zesty and extremely lengthy with that slight smoke making a sweet exit. An ideal malt for a long, lazy evening.
The Dancing Stag Series. On a dark windy night with the moon looming over the Highlands, returning from a whisky buying trip the Directors of Robert Graham were confronted by a magnificent stag who appeared to dance in the moonlight. Thus this new line of inspired whiskies. Coincidentally, this happened as our new store on Canongate, Royal Mile was opening in an area King David the 1st created after seeing a vision of a stag with a cross between its antlers.
