The Manager's Legacy - Jim Cryle

Jim started as a trainee manager in 1966 before he became assistant manager of Tamdhu Maltings in 1967 and then moved to Bunnabhain Distillery in 1970. In 1972 he took over as Distillery Manager at Glenglassaugh before becomeing General Manager at Tamdhu in 1974. In 1983 Jim took on the role of marketing manager for Highland Park and Tamdhu until 1991 when he left Highland, returning to production as manager at Glenlivet Distillery before becoming Master Distiller. Jim retired in 2005.

This whisky from a refill sherry cask from 1974 is light and fresh and a testament to Jim's time in charge.
