The Manager's Legacy - Dod Cameron

George (Dod) was born and raised in Dufftown and started working in the whisky industry at Mortlach Distillery before moving to Covalmore. In 1967 he became brewer at Glenrothes before taking on his first managerial role at Glenglassaugh in 1974. When he left Glensglassaugh he took over the reins at Highland Park and then moved to Glenturret. Dod sadly passed away in 1995 but leaves behind this fine testament to his time in charge.

This whisky from a refill sherry butt is one of the last casks filled before the distillery closed in 1986. It has an orange gold colour with a medly of flavours of boiled sweets, plums and citrus and finishing with cloves and spices.
