The term "Independent Bottler" is one that you may or may not be unfamiliar with.  So what does it actually mean?  It is used to identify an organisation that procures whisky casks, carefully samples the whisky within over many years and then bottles the whisky ONLY when its judged to be at its peak quality. 

Robert Graham Ltd proudly entered the world of independent bottling some time ago with our first release being a delicate Rosebank 11 year old way back in 2003.  It was a small cask from a closed distillery but due to its tremendous quality and limited availability it proved very popular with our customers and sold out very very quickly.  If you are lucky enough to have a bottle at home then it has no doubt at least doubled in value already but I hope thats not why you bought it, this whisky should be drunk!!!

We followed the Rosebank with a 13 year old sherry-rich Mortlach which we launched at Whisky Live Glasgow and then a 1988 Tomatin. The Mortlach was simply glorious. It completely coated your tastebuds and worked fantastically well with Cuban cigars.  Our 1988 Tomatin was biscuity with a hint of lemon and is still available in extremely limited quantities. To reflect the rarity of these last few bottles we have presented them for sale in a wooden gift box at no extra charge

Thanks largely to the huge success of our first three bottlings we significantly stepped up our procurement of high quality whisky casks with more releases now coming out all the time and we have also won Gold and Bronze awards in the Whisky Magazine Independent Bottlers Challenge - click here for more details

A 100 proof Ben Nevis 1996 from the Highlands that won GOLD in the Whisky Magazine Independent Bottlers Challenge 2009
Two different closed Speyside distilleries (Allt a Bhainne 15 years old, Braes of Glenlivet 18 years old which won BRONZE in the Whisky Magazine Independent Bottlers Challenge 2009),
Two "mystery" Islay malts (the Hoebeg and the Homecoming which was speciallly bottled to mark the Year of the Homecoming in 2009)

Wherever possible we like to try and cater to every taste and we are careful to only source unusual whiskies that are not otherwise represented on the mainstream market.
